Face Oils

If you want to get hydrated and glowing skin in one go, face oil is the solution.

The main advantage of facial oils is their ability to form an "occlusive" barrier at the top of the skin, allowing the active ingredients to penetrate the skin, while reducing transdermal water loss (TEW). They offer an extra level of protection, helping to soothe irritations. According to the scientific community, facial oils provide antioxidant and antibacterial action.

Categories of oils

As with serums, facial oils are divided into categories according to their different actions. Many oils have multiple properties, but can be categorized into three general categories: moisturizing, anti-aging and soothing.

Can all skin types use it?

Face oil can be used by all skin types, however those who have acne prone skin, it is good to choose an oil that says on the product label, non-comedogenic.

Which face oil should I choose?

We suggest you some oils so you can choose the right one, depending on your skin type.

Normal skin:

• Jojoba oil
• Almond oil
• Wild rose oil

Oily skin:

• Jojoba oil
• Tea tree oil
• Black cumin oil

Dry skin:

• Argan oil
• Grape seed oil

Sensitive skin:

• Castor oil

How is facial oil applied correctly?

It is very important to apply a small amount, 2-3 drops are enough for face and neck. When using it, we do not rub the product on our skin. First, we put 2-3 drops in our palms to heat the oil and then apply it on the skin. The reason we heat the product in our hands is to spread it more easily but also because the heat helps to release the active ingredients it contains.
