Sofargen® Gel is a modern medical device in gel form.
It is suitable for the local treatment of small skin wounds such as cuts, abrasions, superficial wounds and generally skin continuity solutions.
Sofargen Gel contains silver sulfadiazine and has a high water content (over 95%). Sulfadiazine silver is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent that protects the wound from infection and keeps the wound environment free of exogenous bacteria.
Instructions of use
Thoroughly clean the wound with plenty of clean water or saline or antiseptics (oxygen, iodine solutions, etc.) if available. This removes all the small foreign bodies, if any, and a large number of germs.
Apply Sofargen Gel directly on the wound creating a uniform layer 2 or 3 mm thick.
The product can also be used after first being placed on sterile gauze or a polyurethane or semi-permeable patch.
Repeat 1 or 2 times a day until healing is complete.
