Participates in the reconstruction of tissues & muscles, while prolonging the production of lactic acid which causes tiredness during exercise. *
In addition, carnosine treats and prevents oxidative damage, strengthening the skin's support structures and maintaining its elasticity over time. *
Finally, it has anti-glycosylating properties. Specifically, it reacts with sugars before they attach to the collagen & elastin fibers and creates glycosylated carnosine, which is naturally eliminated from the body. *
