Viogenesis OchraKilis Plus is a food for special dietary purposes that can be taken as a dietary treatment for macular degeneration (macular degeneration).

Following clinical trials, the UBF evaluation (UBF is a German licensed body licensed worldwide) that classifies Viogenesis OchraKilis Plus into food for special medical purposes (trophic drugs). Nutraceuticals, internationally rendered English by the word 'Nutraceuticals', are biologically active phytochemicals and appear to have health benefits for the veins of the feet.

What does it contain

Antioxidants are especially important for the health of the eyes and their better functioning throughout your life. Two very important eye nutrients that can reduce the risk of macular degeneration are lutein and zeaxanthin. They are two types of carotenoids, which are yellow to red pigments and are widely found in vegetables. In nature, lutein and zeaxanthin appear to absorb excessive light energy to prevent damage to plants from excessive sunlight, especially from high energy light rays called blue light.

In addition to the presence of many green leafy plants and colorful fruits and vegetables, lutein and zeaxanthin are found in high concentrations in the pale blotch of the human eye, giving the blotch its yellowish color. In fact, the macula is also called "macula lutea" (from the Latin word macula, which means "spot", and lutea, which means "yellow"). Lutein and zeaxanthin appear to have an important antioxidant role. Along with other natural antioxidants, such as Vitamin C, beta-carotene and Vitamin E (found in Ochrakilis Plus), these important nutrients protect the body from the harmful effects of free radicals.

Polyphenols and other molecules isolated from grapes have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects on numerous tissues. Oxidative damage and inflammation contribute to the degeneration of the retina, so the bioactive components found in the grapes will protect the photoreceptors. Grape seed extract has been reported in many studies to be a neuroprotective agent and prevents retinal epidermal pigment (RPE) damage and secondary retinal dysfunction.

Resveratrol helps selectively target oxidation and inflammation and can be added to any EOD treatment. Resveratrol protects against the toxicity of hydrogen peroxide and the apoptosis of human lens epithelial cells in a dose-dependent manner.

Through dietary treatment with the necessary carotenoids, a cure for good vision is supported. The need to adjust according to §14b (5) DiätV is noted: The maximum levels set for the nutrients in a diet are exceeded to achieve the desired dietary action.
