UMP 5-monophosphate is a nucleotide that is a structural element of the DNA and RNA of the neuronal cell nucleus. As a structural element, it is synthesized by the body itself while low levels are observed in cases where there is neuralgia. Pyrochloquinoline quinone (PQQ) is a co-factor in redox. It is found in some foods such as kiwis. Studies have shown that it helps protect neurons.
