SuperFoods Eubias Pure Cod Oil contains 1000 mg Cod Oil of high quality and purity which is produced from the liver of cod fish. It is a rich source of Omega 3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA), vitamins A and D.
Cod liver oil is one of the richest foods in omega 3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (EPA and DHA). Omega 3 fatty acids have been found in studies to provide cardiovascular protection. In addition, they have anti-inflammatory properties, especially in diseases of the joints, while they can reduce cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood.
According to European Regulation 432/2012 by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA):
- 250 mg EPA & DHA per day contribute to the normal functioning of the heart
- 3 grams of EPA & DHA a day help maintain normal blood pressure
- 2 grams of EPA & DHA per day help maintain normal triglyceride levels
- 250 mg DHA a day help normal brain function and maintain normal vision
- 200 mg DHA per day contribute to the normal development of the brain and eyes of the fetus and infants

It is recommended to be taken after the meal for better absorption.
Contraindications
EPA lowers blood pressure by increasing the effect of antihypertensive drugs. In addition, it is contraindicated in concomitant administration of anticoagulant therapy. In addition, studies have shown that fish oils reduce the effects of birth control pills.
Side effects
People with shellfish and fish allergies are more likely to be allergic to omega 3 fatty acid supplements.
