The Solgar Isoflavones Dietary Supplement contains a titrated distillate of high soya isoflavone extract. Isoflavones are a potent type of phytoestrogens in soy beans with three main types: Daidzein, Glycitein, Genistein.
Isoflavones are powerful antioxidants that can help lower cholesterol levels. Soy isoflavones have phytoestrogenic properties (with about 1/1000 estrogenic activity than estrogen in the body) and can alleviate or reduce some symptoms of menopause (including bone loss).
