Sky Premium Life Omega 3 50 softgels diet supplement contains high quality polyunsaturated omega 3 fatty acids EPA and DHA from fish oils.
They are essential polyunsaturated fatty acids as they cannot be synthesized by the body itself. Omega 3 include EPA or eicosapentaenoic acid and DHA or docosahexaenoic acid.
According to European Regulation 432/2012 by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA):
- 250 mg EPA & DHA per day contribute to the normal functioning of the heart
- 3 g of EPA & DHA per day help maintain normal blood pressure
- 2 g EPA & DHA a day help maintain normal blood triglyceride levels
- 250 mg DHA per day help normal brain function and maintain normal vision
- 200 mg of DHA per day contribute to the normal development of the brain and eyes of the fetus and infants. *

It is recommended to be taken after the meal.
Contraindications
EPA lowers blood pressure by increasing the effect of antihypertensive drugs. In addition, it is contraindicated in concomitant administration of anticoagulant therapy. In addition, studies have shown that fish oils reduce the effects of birth control pills.
