The food supplement Superfoods Echinacea x3 contains a combination of 3 species of Echinacea, and in addition vitamin C and zinc to stimulate the immune system and prevent the common cold and flu.
Echinacea strengthens the immune system, reduces the intensity of symptoms and the duration of colds. The 3 species Echinacea E. purpurea, E. pallida and E. angustifolia, contain antioxidant polyphenols that help treat upper respiratory tract infections.
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the Committee for Herbal Medicinal Products (HMPC) have approved the use of echinacea as a traditional herbal short-term remedy to prevent and treat the symptoms of the common cold.
Zinc, along with vitamin C, are known for their antioxidant properties and their ability to strengthen the body's defenses and shield the immune system against infections.

Contraindications
Not suitable for long-term administration, more than 10 days.
