Medicore Liposomal CoQ10 is a Q10 co-enzyme liposomal supplement. It is an oil-soluble substance whose structure resembles vitamins and is present in most eukaryotic cells and especially in mitochondria.
It is a component of the electron transport chain and plays a role in aerobic cell respiration, creating energy in the form of ATP (adenosine triphosphate). The highest concentration is found in the inner membrane of the mitochondria. Also, CoQ10 is found in various organisms of transformation and degradation of biomolecules such as peroxisomes and lysosomes.
The organs with the highest energy requirement are the liver, the heart, and the kidneys, and thus the highest concentrations of CoQ10, which works in each cell to synthesize energy, appear to them.
