Quest's Enzyme Biotix is a combination of digestive enzymes and probiotics specifically designed for those who have difficulty digesting food. Digestive enzymes help break down food.
Contains the digestive enzymes papain, bromelain, lipase, amylase, lactase and α-galactosidase. Papain and bromelain contribute to the digestion of proteins, lipase to digestion of fats and amylase to digestion of carbohydrates. Lactase breaks down the lactose contained in milk and other dairy products. Α-galactosidase helps break down more complex carbohydrates, which cause bloating and gases when not decomposed.
Probiotic lactic acid bacteria L.acidophilus, L.casei and L.rhamnosus, which help to balance the intestinal flora.
