La Roche Posay

La Roche Posay has a story that goes back a long way! In the 14th century the knight Bertrand Du Guesclin stopped at a spring in the city of La Roche Posay in central France to relieve his thirst. There he saw his horse lying in the water and healing his eczema! Rumors have since spread, and much later, in the 19th century, Napoleon built the first hospital on its banks to cope with his soldiers' skin ailments!

Thousands of patients have since passed and in 1975 the French pharmacist Rene Levayer created the brand "La Roche Posay Laboratoire Dermatologique" to develop products that dermatologists would recommend to their patients. So today, La Roche Posay Laboratories cooperate with 25,000 dermatologists around the world, helping people with sensitive skin.

Now, there are many specialized series based on thermal water that have been developed for the various skin needs that one may have during a lifetime.
