Contraindications
Selenium is contraindicated with concomitant use of anticoagulants and antiplatelet drugs, as well as with high cholesterol medications. It would also be better to avoid it with people with autoimmune diseases, because of the possibility of recurrence of the disease.
Side effects
Overdoses of Selenium may lead to fatigue, metallic taste, hair loss, gastrointestinal disorders and nail deterioration.
