Ayurveda Aeolus Sleep Aid is a dietary supplement with herbs and melatonin that can help with insomnia and hypertension. Contains hawthorn, valerian, passion flower and vegetable melatonin.
- Melatonin: of plant origin, helps reduce the onset of sleep, as well as relieving jet lag (subjective feeling of time lag of the biological clock).
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the Committee for Herbal Medicinal Products (HMPC) have approved the use of the following herbs as traditional herbal remedies:
- Hawthorn: to relieve transient heart symptoms such as palpitations unrelated to acute or chronic heart disease. It also helps with mild symptoms of stress and insomnia.
- Passion flower, valerian: for the relief of mild symptoms of mental stress and for insomnia.
Free of: gluten, sugar, salt, starch, colorants, preservatives, flavor enhancers, sweeteners, wheat, yeast, corn, soy and milk allergens.
Suitable for vegetarians.
Dosage
1-2 capsules.
Instructions of use
Take 1-2 capsules half an hour before bedtime.
Contraindications
Melatonin: is contraindicated in concomitant use of anticoagulants.
Valerian: should not be taken with antidepressants, anxiolytics, anti-histamines and alcohol.
Side effects
Melatonin: Mild nausea or allergic reactions may occur when discontinued.
Cautions
There should be a difference of taking, at least one hour, from conventional medicines.
Does not cause addiction
Storage
Keep the product in a dry, cool place up to 25°C (77°F), and protect it from light. Inappropriate storage conditions, such as prolonged exposure to sunlight, high temperature, humidity, and freezing conditions, may result in alterations to the product.
