Lamberts Multi-Guard Pregnancy is specially designed, with 23 micronutrients, to cover the increased nutritional requirements of the woman before conception, during pregnancy (where it simultaneously covers the requirements of the pregnant woman and the fetus) and during breastfeeding.
Specifically:
The folic acid contained in Lamberts Multi-Guard Pregnancy is in the form of calcium L-methylfolate, which is the metabolically active (methylated) form of folic acid. As a result, it is easily and immediately absorbed. It is also ideal for people who do not methylate folic acid (polymorphisms in the MTHFR gene).**
It also contributes to the development of maternal tissue during pregnancy, the normal functioning of the immune system, normal hematopoiesis and the process of cell division and specialization.*
Folic acid is necessary before conception and during pregnancy for the development of maternal tissues and the normal development of the fetus.
