L-Mesitran Net is a sterile absorbent polyester mesh impregnated with hydroactive, antibacterial honey ointment of 20% on the composition of the product.
It is an advanced patch of high absorption capacity with polymer gel that promotes the cleaning of ulcers with high exudates while shielding them from unwanted restoration.
It allows the exudates to pass through its braid while preventing the restoration and diffusion of necrotic, bacterial cells in the ulcer area creating an inner, ridiculous coating.
Soothes the swelling through its anti-inflammatory elements and the provision of rich oxygenation, vitamins, amino acids and nutrients to the ulcer, thus neutralizing the inflammation of the ulcer.
It develops and maintains a natural, antiseptic environment in the ulcer, through an enzymatic reaction and subsequent production of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), while it does not work cytotoxically, as is the case with conventional antiseptic / antimicrobial substances (silver, oxygen, etc.). prolonged use and presence of the product in the fault is required.
It detaches easily during its removal without injuring the tissue while it also prevents the attachment of the additional exudate absorption patch, thus offering a painless change.
L-Mesitran Net is suitable for:
Absorption of high exudates in superficial or medium-sized ulcers, postoperative wounds, graft removal sites, supine ulcers, chronic ulcers, etc.
It is placed as a secondary patch after the application of the hydroactive L-Mesitran® ointments in cases of infected or foul-smelling ulcers to enhance the absorption of the exudates and to protect the ulcer from necrotic cells.
Instructions of use
Place it directly on the ulcer and it adapts to its relief, even in deep ulcers, by placing its adhesive side on the ulcer.
The application of the product must be accompanied by the placement of an additional exudate absorption pad, e.g. gauze, foam etc.
The indicated retention time of the product in the ulcer is determined in 1-5 days depending on the condition of the ulcer. In case of infection, daily change of the product is recommended.

Cautions
