The food supplement Viogenesis L-Carnitine Mix contains L-carnitine in two forms, acetylated and tartrate.
Acetyl-L-carnitine, contributes to the production of acetylcholine, preventing many symptoms associated with aging, including a decline in energy and memory. Supports memory and good mental function: It has a similar structure to the amino acid L-carnitine but also a similar function, as it participates in the metabolism of food into energy. The acetyl group present in acetyl-L-carnitine contributes to the production of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter required for mental function. It reduces the intensity of mental and physical fatigue, improves mood and cognitive dysfunction. It also contributes together with CoQ10 to the correct distribution of melanin.
Τartrate L-carnitine is L-carnitine bound to tartaric acid and is absorbed faster than other forms of L-carnitine. This makes it particularly suitable for a more immediate effect, just before or immediately after sports activity.
It increases fatty acid oxidation and reduces purine catabolism and free radical formation, which can prevent exercise fatigue, muscle weakness, peripheral neuropathy and hyperlipoproteinemia.
