GU Hydration Drink Tabs are specially formulated to offer replenishment of losses after exercise and hydration to athletes. With carbohydrates, low calories and xylitol helping to reduce gastrointestinal distress (GI distress) compared to sorbitol.
They can also be added to a regular energy drink that already contains electrolytes and carbohydrates, making it even more enhanced at electrolyte levels, especially when temperatures are too high. They contain 320 mg of sodium, the basic electrolyte that is excreted with sweat and potassium, and help maintain fluid balance in the body.
