A. Vogel Passiflora Complex Spray is a herbal tranquilizer in spray form with passionflower, lemon balm and zinc.
Passionflower is an herb that enhances the feeling of calmness and relaxation, relieves muscle tension, while the most important thing is that it is not addictive at all.
Scientists believe Passionflower works by increasing levels of a chemical called gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the brain. It is worth noting that GABA is an inhibitory neurotransmitter, which promotes the feeling of calmness.
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the Committee for Medicinal Products of Herbal Origin (HMPC) have approved the use of passionflower and lemon balm as traditional herbal aids for the relief of mild symptoms of mental stress and insomnia.
Finally, zinc helps protect cells from oxidative stress.*
It is a formula suitable for adults and children over 12 years of age. It does not contain gluten, sugar and is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Dosage
Adults: 3 sprays in the mouth, up to 4 times a day.
Children over 12 years: 1 spray in the mouth, up to 4 times a day.
Instructions of use
It is taken regardless of a meal.
Contraindications
Contraindicated in people taking anxiolytic/sedative medications. In addition, it should not be co-administered with anticoagulant treatment as well as with Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAID).
Not to be taken by pregnant and lactating women.
