Lamberts Peppermint oil is a nutritional supplement that contains pure peppermint oil, distilled from peppermint leaves.
Mint is characterized by its long tradition of use as a digestive aid. The vegetable oils found in the leaves of the plant (peppermint oil), and in particular menthol, are the key ingredients, although non-oily ingredients act synergistically to improve the function of the gastrointestinal system.
The European Medicines Agency (EMA), and the Committee on Herbal Medicines (HMPC) have approved the use of peppermint as a traditional herbal remedy for the digestive system, mild indigestion and bloating.
Recent studies have shown that peppermint oil has a beneficial effect on the symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). IBS is caused by a disorder of the function of the gastrointestinal tract wall. The smooth muscle fibers of the intestinal wall wall become irritable, resulting in the appearance of severe and painful contractions. As many clinical studies have shown, peppermint oil causes rupture of the smooth muscle fibers of the intestinal wall.*

Dosage
3 capsules daily.
Instructions of use
It is recommended to take 1 capsule 3 times daily after the main meals.

Keep the product in a dry, cool place up to 25°C (77°F), and protect it from light. Inappropriate storage conditions, such as prolonged exposure to sunlight, high temperature, humidity, and freezing conditions, may result in alterations to the product.
