Flower water for rejuvenated skin!

One of the most valuable ingredients in cosmetics, flower water soothes, calms, cools, tones, moisturizes and rejuvenates the skin, giving it radiance and youthful appearance.

Flower water and history

Flower waters known as floral waters or eaux florales have been used for centuries in cosmetic compositions. Flower water for every need

Flower water is made from various plants, herbs and flowers that are generally used to produce essential oils – such as chamomile, rose or lavender. Flower water has the properties of an essential oil, but because the plant or flower is diluted in water (instead of condensing as in essential oils) it is safe to use directly on the skin. Plus, it smells like a dream!

Rosa Alba (rosa damascena): The best known of all flower water, rose water is ideal for smoothing wrinkles and tightening the skin while it is suitable for all skin types. How to use flower water

 

Flower water has many uses, not only in beauty but also in cooking and space fragrance. Some of its best known uses are:

• Eye make-up remover: Pour rose water on a make-up remover disc and gently clean your eyes.

• Body lotion: Add a few drops of flower water of your choice to the body lotion and moisturize your skin.

Facial toning lotion: Usually in toning lotions the alcohol contained is very small or has been replaced with some flower water.

• Facial Cleansing: Add a few drops of lavender or chamomile flower water to a handkerchief that removes makeup.

• For acne: Add lemon juice and lavender flower water in a 1: 1 ratio to reduce acne scars. Before applying it on the pimples with tamponade movements, try it on your hand first.

• In the bathroom: In hot water pour 2 to 3 drops of flower water of your choice mixed with your shower gel.

• For massage: Mix lavender flower water with a basic body massage oil.

Conditioner: Instead of using the classic conditioner, apply chamomile or fennel flower water to your hair after shampooing.

• For shiny hair: Apply to your hair with chamomile flower water or spray it directly on natural blonde or dyed hair to make it more shiny.

Beauty tip

Instead of pouring cold water on your face in the morning, put a bottle of flower water of your choice next to the sink. Spray your face when you wake up for hydrated and rejuvenated skin.
