Apple cider vinegar – a nutricious treasure!

The apple cider vinegar is a food that has been known for many centuries for its healing properties and health benefits. In antiquity, they used it to heal wounds, but over the years they have discovered that it has many properties and is a very nutritious food and a popular cosmetic!

 

 What is the apple cider vinegar?

   The apple cider vinegar is produced by the fermentation of apple juice sugars after the addition of microorganisms (bacteria). Acetic acid in vinegar appears to have a positive effect on blood pressure. In particular, according to reports, acetic acid reduces arterial pressure and the activity of renin, an enzyme secreted by the kidneys which plays a very important role in regulating blood pressure.

Overconsumption may cause gastrointestinal disturbances or worsen of gastroparesis. Because of the high concentration of acids, it can cause erosion of the tooth enamel or irritate the esophagus when consumed in large quantities.
