   Elevated cholesterol levels are one of the most common health conditions. Red yeast rice is a natural and effective way to lower blood cholesterol levels.

What is red yeast rice

   Red rice yeast is a traditional Chinese culinary and medicine that has been used for many centuries. It is produced by the fermentation of the yeast Monascus purpureus, which is found in red rice.

  Pregnant and breastfeeding women as well as minors should not take supplements with red yeast rice. People with liver disease, thrombotic problems, kidney disease, musculoskeletal disorders and cancer or people who are take cholesterol-lowering drugs (statins), antioxidants, antiplatelet and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, should not take supplements with red yeast rice.
