Pharmacist

Pharmacist graduated from the School of Pharmacy, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2018).

Since 2019 he is head pharmacist at the Gatzouli pharmacy (vita4you.gr) where he implements medicines prescriptions while having excellent knowledge of the preparation of galenic preparations as well as on non-prescription over-the-counter medicines (OTC). He also provides health advice and information for optimum and safe use of nutritional supplements with a focus on drug interactions with food ingredients or nutritional supplements. He is also a member of the editorial team of the online pharmacy blog vita4you.gr.

He has been practicing at the pharmacy of AHEPA general hospital, and at the Gatzouli pharmacy in Thessaloniki. He has 2 years of experience in the Laboratory of the Faculty of Pharmacology – Pharmacognosy of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has excellent knowledge of laboratory techniques and methods specializing in cloning human genes in bacterial vectors for immunotherapy purposes. In the framework of his laboratory training, he has completed a thesis on “Cloning the Interleukin-2 (IL-2) Sequence”.

Member of the voluntary non-governmental, non-profit organization “ATP” (Aristotle Team of Pharmacy) with which he received the AUTH Collective Excellence Award in 2017 for his voluntary action promoting knowledge initiative and giving to others. Organizing member of the Sponsorship Department at the 1st and 2nd Panhellenic Pharmacy Students’ Scientific Conference (PESFAFA) and member of the organizing committee at the 3rd Applied Basic Clinical Seminar with Scenarios for Students (3rd ABCS3), where clinical cases were simulated targeting on medical school students.

His areas of interest in Pharmacy include Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. It is constantly updated and trained in the field of pharmaceutical knowledge by attending conferences and e-courses
