Mannose belongs to simple carbohydrates but is not used by the body such as the sugar. It is released directly through the blood into the kidneys, and then into the urine through the bladder. It has the property of preventing the adhesion of bacteria to the bladder wall. Zein Pharma Natural D-Mannose is natural with combination of alpha and beta mannose and not synthetic and therefore has its classic sweet taste with a slightly bitter, botanical aftertaste.
