What is Choline?
Choline is a component of phosphatidylcholine and is also contained in dietary lecithin. It is an essential nutrient that, although it is produced by our body, it is also necessary to receive it through the diet, in order to avoid its deficiency.

What foods have choline?

Its deficiency has been linked to liver dysfunction, cirrhosis and fatty liver.
Recommended Daily Intake (RDI)
The recommended daily intake for adults is 425 mg for women and 550 mg for men. With choline, the simultaneous administration of Inocitol (inositol) and vitamins of the B complex is recommended.
Side effects, interactions and precautions for use
Overdose (>10 gr daily) causes a "fishy smell" and brings diarrhoea, nausea and dizziness. Taking during pregnancy and breastfeeding is safe with medical supervision.
