Lamberts L-Phenylalanine is an amino acid based phenylalanine dietary supplement in its free form. Phenylalanine is an essential amino acid as it cannot be synthesized in the body and must be taken exogenously from the diet.
These three neurotransmitters are important for alertness, memory retention and mental function, as well as the coordination of muscle movements. The L-form of phenylalanine is found in foods (salmon, milk, eggs, peanuts, beef and nuts) and differs from the synthetic D-form which is commonly used for medicinal purposes.
In addition, it helps control appetite. L-phenylalanine can suppress appetite in people who generally eat more than they need and are overweight or obese.
In our body, phenylalanine is converted to another amino acid, Tyrosine, which in turn is used by the body to produce a class of neurotransmitters called catecholamines.
Dosage
1 capsule daily.
Instructions of use
It is preferable to take the amino acids with fruit juice or water instead of milk. The best intake of amino acids is ½ hours before any meal or sleep.
Contraindications
Phenylalanine should not be taken by people suffering from phenylketonuria. Also, this product should not be co-administered with antidepressants.
Storage
Keep the product in a dry, cool place up to 25°C (77°F), and protect it from light. Inappropriate storage conditions, such as prolonged exposure to sunlight, high temperature, humidity, and freezing conditions, may result in alterations to the product.
