Solgar L-Lysine dietary supplement contains lysine, an amino acid sulfide with antioxidant properties.
Good sources of lysine include protein-rich foods such as meat (red), cheese and dairy, fish, eggs and legumes.
It is important for the synthesis of keratin, a protein found in skin, hair and nails. As part of glutathione it protects the liver and improves the detoxification of the liver and cells. Studies have shown that lysine helps prevent herpes simplex as it blocks the virus from reproducing. In such cases, it is recommended to limit foods containing arginine and the ratio of lysine to arginine to be at least 2: 1. *

Preferably to be taken with meals. It is recommended to take vitamin C.
