Viogenesis Vitamin K2 (MK-7) 225 mcg + D3 4000 IU Depot is a dietary supplement containing vitamins K2 and D3 in the form of MK-7 (menakinone-7) and cholecalciferol respectively, in the form of Depot tablets.
Depot tabletting allows, thanks to special coatings, the sustained release of micronutrients into the body and gives them a higher absorption rate.
Vitamins K2 and D3 are essential for bone health. In particular, vitamin K helps to normalize blood clotting and maintain normal bones. Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption / utilization of calcium and phosphorus, to maintaining the normal state of bones, and to maintaining normal blood calcium levels. *
Dosage
1 tablet daily.
Instructions of use
Preferably to be taken with a meal.
Contraindications
Concomitant use of anticoagulants is contraindicated due to competition in their action. Also, antibiotics may reduce the levels of Vitamin K in the body, due to the destruction of the intestinal flora.
Taking Vitamin D supplements with> 4000IU is recommended to be accompanied by monitoring of blood calcium levels, as there is a risk of causing hypercalcaemia.
Side effects
Taking Vitamin K in very high doses may cause cyanosis, hypotension, dizziness and itching.
At doses of Vitamin D greater than 10,000 IU per day, diarrhea or constipation, decreased appetite, dry mouth and metallic taste may occur.
Storage
Keep the product in a dry, cool place up to 25°C (77°F), and protect it from light. Inappropriate storage conditions, such as prolonged exposure to sunlight, high temperature, humidity, and freezing conditions, may result in alterations to the product.
