Viogenesis SAM-e Plus 200 mg is a dietary supplement containing a special form of methionine, S-adenosymlethionine (S-adenosylmethionine) (SAM-e). Because it has so many actions in different parts of the body and can offer many health benefits.
The Viogenesis SAM-e Plus dietary supplement also contains ingredients such as tryptophan, griffonia-simplicifolia, herbs and B-complex vitamins that contribute to the proper functioning of the nervous system.
In the liver, SAM-e performs two basic functions: methylation and the formation of the most essential substance - the amino acid glutathione, which is both an antioxidant and a detoxifier. SAMe acts as a precursor to glutathione production.
SAM-e has been shown to be effective in relieving depressive symptoms. It is thought to exert its antidepressant effect by increasing the production of neurotransmitters that play a key role in mood, behavior and emotions.
Almost all arthritis studies performed with SAMe are for osteoarthritis. Increases the number of chondrocytes (cartilage cells) and proteoglycans (proteins). This suggests that treatment with SAMe may reverse the deeper process of osteoarthritis by causing cartilage to grow. *
