Uni-Pharma D3 fix 4000 IU + K2 45 μg is a dietary supplement that contains a combination of vitamins K-2 and D-3 to maintain bone health, and normal coagulation.
Vitamin K-2 works in conjunction with vitamin D-3. K-2 plays an important role in bone health because it helps calcium to pass to the bones and at the same time prevents it from staying in the arteries, to prevent the formation of calcifications and atherosclerosis, thus reducing the chances of cardiovascular events.
Vitamin D-3 helps the body absorb calcium more efficiently. Lack of vitamin D-3 causes problems with calcium metabolism, leads to loss of bone mass, increases the chance of fractures and osteomalacia.
Vitamin D contributes: to the normal use of calcium and phosphorus, to the normal state of bones, teeth and muscles, to the normal functioning of the immune system, to the process of cell division. *
Vitamin K contributes to the normal condition of bones and normal blood clotting. *
Vitamin K2 (MK-4) and vitamin D3 play an important role in the structure, integrity and maintenance of healthy bones and are required for blood clotting. Menakinone (MK4) is a highly bioavailable form of vitamin K2 and supports cardiovascular and bone health. Vitamin D3 contributes to the normal absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus in the body and plays a key role in bone formation and mineralization to help develop strong healthy bones and teeth.
