The Terra Nova Vitamin D3 1000 IU complex dietary supplement contains plant-derived vitamin D3 in combination with superfoods. It includes the vitamin form Vitashine D3, which is the only one certified by the independent Vegan Society and also spirulina, shiitake, pumpkin seeds, coriander and rice bran.

Contraindications
Taking Vitamin D supplements with> 4000IU is recommended to be accompanied by monitoring of blood calcium levels, as there is a risk of causing hypercalcaemia.
Side effects
At doses greater than 10,000 IU per day, diarrhea or constipation, decreased appetite, dry mouth and metallic taste may occur.
