Starmel Bactoblis is a food supplement with probiotics of the Streptococcus Salivarious species for the prevention and treatment of:
- of aphthous stomatitis,
- gingivitis,
- of oral candidiasis
- and bad breath.
Streptococcus salivarius subsp. salivarius is a beneficial microorganism that is naturally present in the oropharynx and is therefore a member of the oral microflora.
The probiotic strain Streptococcus salivarius K12 (known as BLIS ® K12) is used to restore normal oropharyngeal bioavailability. It produces two bacteriocins:
- Salivaricin A2
- and Salivaricin B
which can inhibit the growth of bacteria and other pathogenic strains responsible for bacterial pharyngitis, acute otitis media and halitosis.
Bactoblis® has been studied and documented for several years through clinical studies. Specifically, in studies conducted in adults with recurrent pharyngitis, Bactoblis ® reduced pharyngeal and tonsil infection events by approximately 84% after 3 months of treatment.
More specifically it achieves:
- over 90% reduction in pharyngitis bacterial infections
- over 80% reduction in viral mouth infections
- about 50% reduction in acute otitis media

Dosage
In the prevention of bacterial and viral pharyngitis and acute otitis media: Take 1 tablet a day for about 90 days.
In the treatment of gingivitis, aphthous stomatitis from oral candidiasis: It is recommended to take 1 tablet a day for 30 days.
For the treatment of bad breath: The recommended dosage is 1 tablet per day for 15 days.
Instructions of use
The tablets are slow dissolving. They should be left to dissolve slowly in the mouth, at night, before bed, after brushing your teeth.
Contraindications
Contraindicated in immunocompromised individuals or those undergoing chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy.
Cautions
They should not be chewed or dissolved in water.

Bactoblis ® contains a live and dynamic probiotic strain, sensitive to heat and humidity. Consequently, it is recommended to avoid exposure to heat or changes in temperature, to protect from light and moisture and to store it, preferably at a temperature below 25°C.
