Specchiasol Lenimyr is a patented Myrrh, Caffeine, and Ginger patented nutritional supplement that works directly and relieves pain in the neck or head.
Caffeine works by blocking adenosine receptors. Adenosine is a molecule that slows down the functioning of the brain and dilates the vessels causing headaches.
The ginger contained in ginger root acts on serotonin receptors and causes contraction of intracranial vessels. Ginger is a selective cyclooxygenase inhibitor. In other words, it blocks COX-2 cyclooxygenase - an enzyme responsible for inflammation and pain - but not the gastrointestinal COX-1, and it also blocks LOX lipoxygenase as opposed to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. *
Furanodienes from Commiphora myrrha resin act on opioid receptors and reduce the feeling of pain. Of course, they do not show any side effects of opioids. *
