Solgar's Maximized Caprylic Acid is a dietary supplement containing caprylic acid, a natural nutritional ingredient that provides fatty acids in the body and has antifungal activity.
Caprylic or octanoic acid contributes to maintaining the balance of the microbial flora of the mucous membranes of the digestive tract and the microbial flora of the skin. It is useful in cases of systemic candidiasis and local fungal infections.
