Quest standardized Valerian 83 mg (Valeriana officinalis) root extract yields 250μg of valeric acid, which is the active ingredient in this traditionally used herb. Valerian is known for its calming properties. It is considered an excellent herbal anxiolytic. In an economical package with an additional 45 tablets.
The Committee for Herbal Medicine (HMPC) has approved the use of valerian as a traditional herbal remedy for relieving mild nervous tension and sleep disorders.
The active ingredient of the herb has been used for more than 10 years. Its effectiveness and safety are now well established and accepted by the EMA.
Dosage
1 to 3 tablets a day

It is recommended to be taken after the meal.
Contraindications
It should not be taken with antidepressants, anxiolytics, anti-histamines and alcohol.
Side effects
Overdose may cause drowsiness, dry mouth, headache or even palpitations. It is recommended not to stop using it abruptly when used for a long time.
