Power of Nature Platinum Range B-Vit12 1000 mcg is a dietary supplement with vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) in a content of 1000 mcg per daily dose.
Vitamin B12 is a water-soluble vitamin of the B complex, which is involved in many functions of the body. It is found mainly in foods of animal origin and contributes to:
- the normal functioning of metabolic processes aimed at energy production *
- the normal functioning of the nervous & immune system *
- normal psychological function *
- the reduction of fatigue & tiredness *
- the normal metabolism of homocysteine *

Its deficiency may cause megaloblastic anemia, chronic fatigue, insomnia, weight loss and anorexia. Vegetarians are often deficient in B12 because it is found mainly in food of animal origin.

Contraindications
Concomitant use with antacids as well as antibiotics is contraindicated, as its absorption may be reduced.
