The Power Health Classics Platinum B 50 Complex is a dietary supplement that contains all the vitamins of the B complex.

Contraindications
Some of the B vitamins have some contraindications:
- Vitamin B3-Niacin: People taking anticoagulants and medication for high cholesterol as well as diabetes should get a medical evaluation before using a Niacin supplement. In addition, it is contraindicated in people with peptic ulcer, because there is a risk of worsening.
- Vitamin B6: Concomitant use with antibiotic therapy is contraindicated. If it is necessary to take the preparation, keep a distance of at least 3 hours between taking them.
- Vitamin B12: Concomitant use with antacids as well as antibiotics is contraindicated, as its absorption may be reduced.
- Folic acid: Avoid concomitant consumption of alcohol, as it may significantly reduce the absorption of the vitamin.
Side effects
Some of the vitamins may have some side effects:
- Vitamin B2: Usually there is a bright yellow color of the urine (something that is completely normal and disappears after stopping taking the drug), a feeling of "burning" and itching of the skin (in very high doses).
- Vitamin B3-Niacin: Very high doses should be avoided, as they may cause symptoms such as headache, flushing, muscle weakness and liver dysfunction. Still, a harmless side effect is the feeling of flushing and redness on the face, something which disappears with the discontinuation of the preparation.
Storage
Keep the product in a dry, cool place up to 25°C (77°F), and protect it from light. Inappropriate storage conditions, such as prolonged exposure to sunlight, high temperature, humidity, and freezing conditions, may result in alterations to the product.
