Jalplast Cream Plus is a hyaluronic acid based wound healing cream with enhanced antimicrobial activity.
Hyaluronic acid has the ability to absorb and retain many water molecules in its molecule. This enables it to accept wound healing, maintaining the necessary moisture in the wound so that tissue can grow rapidly. Essentially, hyaluronic acid is naturally present in cells and is a polysaccharide that is found in the extracellular foundations of tissues and cells.
The cream composition has been enhanced with silver sulfadiazine which provides antimicrobial activity, making it suitable for skin lesions with a high risk of infection.
The use of cream is indicated for:
- Post-traumatic ulcers
- 1st & 2nd degree burns (sores, sunburn, friction burns, home burns)
- Scratched
- Skin defects whatever the cause
- Atonic venous ulcers
- Diabetic ulcers
- Surgical incisions
