The Omron M2 Basic Super Automatic Arm Blood Pressure Monitor is an ultra-automatic blood pressure monitor with intelligence technology and arrhythmia detection technology.
It offers easy use, with a single button and Easy cuff (medium size 22-32 cm.) For simple and comfortable measurement. Provides a guide to the screen for proper cuff placement.
Innovative intelligence technology provides a personalized measurement in each use, as it detects the pressure during inflation, while inflating the cuff only to the level that is necessary. In this way it offers a fast, comfortable and reliable measurement according to the needs of the user.
All OMRON sphygmomanometers are clinically certified and approved for their accuracy and reliability by internationally renowned healthcare providers. It is worth noting that the adapter is not included in the package.
Instructions of use
You should place the cuff of the sphygmomanometer on the left or right arm, approximately at the height of the heart, just above the elbow, in the direction indicated by the arrow.
Make sure you are sitting and your back is resting on the seat.
Your arm should be relaxed and supported e.g. on a table so that the cuff is at heart level. If it is not supported and simply "hangs" or is lower than the height of the heart, then the pressure can be found increased by 7-10 mmHg.
Your legs should not be crossed and you should not speak at the time of the measurement, as the pressure will be increased.
Do not wear tight clothing, especially narrow sleeves in the hand that will measure.
In the trade you will find at least 3 sizes of balloons, so you can choose the most suitable for you. The size of the cuff air chamber plays a role in the accuracy of your measurements. If it is less than needed, the pressure will be higher than the real one. If it is larger than normal, lower. The balloon should occupy about 40% of the circumference of your arm.
