Olympian Labs Green Tea Extract 500 mg is a nutritional supplement with green tea (Camellia sinensis), to activate the metabolism and treat harmful free radicals.
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the Committee for Herbal Medicines (HMPC) have approved the use of green tea as a traditional herbal remedy for relieving the symptoms of fatigue and weakness.
Green tea is derived from the plant Camelia Sinensis and is widely known for its antioxidant properties. Their main active compound is catechins, substances that belong to the family of polyphenols. Green tea is believed to increase metabolic rate (our body's ability to convert food into energy) and is therefore a popular diet supplement. *

It is recommended to be taken with food.
Contraindications
Contraindicated in people with heart, liver and kidney problems. To be avoided by pregnant, breastfeeding women and to be taken at a distance (at least 2 hours) from iron preparations.
Side effects
Overdose (> 800 mg epigallocatechin per day) may cause irritability, dizziness and insomnia.
Storage
Keep the product in a dry, cool place up to 25°C (77°F), and protect it from light. Inappropriate storage conditions, such as prolonged exposure to sunlight, high temperature, humidity, and freezing conditions, may result in alterations to the product.
