Now Vitamin E-400 plus Selenium 100 mcg is an antioxidant dietary supplement with vitamin E in the form of natural mixed tocopherols, in combination with selenium.
Tocopherols are a group of fat-soluble chemical compounds of similar chemical structure (homologous compounds) with antioxidant properties. Intake from the human body through food is essential. Collectively, tocopherols are known as vitamin E and are found in vegetable oils and generally in plant-based foods. Tocopherols are distinguished by the letters of the Greek alphabet in: α, β, γ, δ, ε, ζ and η. The most important of these is α-tocopherol (d-alpha-tocopherol), as it is characterized by better absorption and bioavailability and with in this form the majority of clinical trials have been conducted.

Contraindications
It is recommended that vitamin E and Selenium supplementation be avoided by people taking anticoagulants as it may increase the risk of bleeding.
Side effects
At high doses of Vitamin E (above 1200 IU) and Selenium, fatigue, nausea, palpitations and high blood pressure, hair loss and a metallic taste may occur.

Keep the product in a dry, cool place up to 25°C (77°F), and protect it from light. Inappropriate storage conditions, such as prolonged exposure to sunlight, high temperature, humidity, and freezing conditions, may result in alterations to the product.
