Metapharm Cellfactor Dyspesyn is a dietary supplement with herbs and digestive enzymes that works against indigestion, flatulence, bloating and the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome.
Amylase is found in saliva and pancreatic digestive fluids and its function is to break down carbohydrates and especially starch into smaller, more digestible molecules. Protease, respectively, facilitates the breakdown of proteins into amino acids, while lipase facilitates the digestion of food fat into triglycerides and free fatty acids. Bromelain and papain act on proteins. Betaine is a complementary source of hydrochloric acid and helps with indigestion. *
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the Committee for Herbal Medicine (HMPC) have approved the use of ginger as a traditional herbal remedy for the symptoms of nausea and vomiting, as well as mild digestive disorders such as bloating and flatulence.
