Product description

  • Alpha Lipoic Acid and Vitamins B
  • B1, B6, B12, folic acid
  • Nervous system, fatigue reduction, normal homocysteine

MaxiHeal LipoAct 600 mg is a dietary supplement with alpha lipoic acid and B-complex vitamins for health of the nervous system, reducing fatigue and fatigue and maintaining normal homocysteine levels.

Vitamins B1, B6, B12 contribute to the normal metabolism of energy in the body, to the normal functioning of the nervous system and to the reduction of fatigue and fatigue. Vitamin B6 and folic acid help maintain normal levels of homocysteine. * The above are official health claims by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA)

Α-Lipoic acid (ALA) is a natural antioxidant that the body produces. Rich sources of nutrition are red meat, liver, spinach, broccoli, yeast, Brussels sprouts etc. It is a natural dithiol compound and is a cofactor for mitochondrial enzymes. It is a small sized molecule and has a double nature - fat-soluble and water-soluble. Neutralizes free radicals in both oily and watery parts of the cell.

ALA is a major component of dehydrogenase, an enzyme that can help slow down the natural aging process. Once ALA is absorbed by the body, its dihydrolipoic acid (DHLA), which is its endogenous active metabolite, is reduced to its active form. Both ALA and DHLA are powerful antioxidants. Upon entry into the tissues, ALA exerts its antioxidant activity in both the intracellular and extracellular space, particularly in the mitochondria - the organism's 'energy factory', where it acts as a coenzyme on various biochemical pathways. It recycles and prolongs the metabolic life of glutathione, vitamins C and E as well as the CoQ10 coenzyme.

ALA is used in cases of diabetic neuropathy, one of the most common and most painful complications of diabetes. Clinical studies have shown that administration of ALA contributes to improved glycemic control by promoting glucose metabolism in a manner that simulates insulin action. ALA appears to trigger the insulin signaling pathway and thereby increase glucose uptake in muscle and fat cells. * The above information about the ingredients of the product is the result of studies. They are not an EFSA opinion.
