Lamberts Zincatest is a dietary supplement containing zinc sulfate in liquid form. Zinc is an extremely important metal for the body as it contributes: *
- In normal cognitive function and in normal function of immune system
- In the normal synthesis of DNA, in cell division and in the protection of cells from oxidative stress
- In normal fertility and reproduction
- In the normal metabolism of acids, bases, fatty acids, carbohydrates, Vitamin A and macronutrients
- In the normal synthesis of proteins
- In maintaining the normal state of bones, hair, nails and skin
- In maintaining normal blood testosterone levels and normal vision
Zincatest can be used:
- As a test for determination of zinc levels,
- As a zinc supplement for people who find it difficult to swallow zinc tablets or capsules.
Dosage
As a dietary supplement: take 5ml of a teaspoon of Zincatest daily.
Instructions of use
As a dietary supplement: take 5ml of a teaspoon of Zincatest daily. You can dissolve it in water or orange juice if desired.
As a test for zinc level: The test should be performed at least one hour after eating food or drink. In 60ml of water (1/4 glass) pour 5ml (1 teaspoon) of Zincatest. Then, take 5ml of this solution and dab it in our mouth for about 10 seconds and then swallow or spit it out.
The sense of taste that this test will give us indicates what the level of zinc in our body is:
- Tasteless (like plain water): low level of zinc.
- Taste of dry-metallic or possibly sweet after a few seconds: marginal zinc level.
- Feeling distinctive taste, which becomes more intense with time: a relatively satisfactory level of zinc.
- Strong, unpleasant taste, immediately apparent: satisfactory level of zinc.
- For cases 1 & 2, Zinc supplementation is required daily until we reach levels 3 or 4. Usually, treatment is given for 3-6 months.
Each time you need to repeat the test, you will need to prepare a new solution.
Storage
Store the product in a dry, cool place up to 25°C (77°F), and protect it from light. After the product is opened, follow the storage instructions on the packaging for its optimal preservation.
