The dietary supplement Lamberts Vegan DHA is produced exclusively from a plant source, the seaweed Schizochytrium sp. The algae used are grown in a controlled environment, and are naturally free of pollutants. They are an integral part of the marine food chain.
The oil derived from algae is in the form of natural triglycerides, a form of omega 3 ideal for vegetarians, vegans and people with allergies to fish. The ingredients of Lamberts Vegan DHA are encapsulated in small capsules, sunflower oil, along with antioxidants: rosemary extract, tocopherols and vitamin C (ascorbyl palmitate) to maintain the natural properties of the oil.
