L-Carnitine Lamberts is a nutritional supplement that contains the amino acid carnitine in its free form. Carnitine is a non-essential amino acid as it can be synthesized endogenously in the body by lysine and methionine.
Its most well-known metabolic function of carnitine is the transport of long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria of muscle cells for oxidation.
It lowers blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels, while improving the ratio between HDL and LDL cholesterol.
It also transports toxic compounds that build up inside the mitochondria, outside of these cellular organelles, to prevent them from accumulating. *
Each capsule provides 500mg of Free Form Carnitine (supplied by 745mg of L-Carnitine Tartrate) for maximum absorption and bioavailability.

Dosage
1 capsule daily.
Instructions of use
Preferably to be taken with juice or water rather than with milk. Amino acids have better absorption when taken half an hour before eating or sleeping.

This product is not recommended for children or adolescents who are developing and for pregnant or lactating women.
