Lamberts Iron 14 mg is a nutritional supplement that provides guaranteed 14 mg of elemental iron. Iron is one of the most important elements of the body.

Iron is found in nature in two forms: hematite and vegetable iron, with its richest sources being red meat (hematite). Lack of iron due to the consumption of low-iron foods, or in combination with foods that are complex and reduce its absorption. Eating iron deficiency leads to iron deficiency anemia. According to studies by the World Health Organization, iron deficiency is the most widespread metal deficiency in the world.
Lamberts Iron is designed to provide maximum absorption and utilization by the body. It does not cause constipation, as the iron is available in citrate form.
Dosage
1 tablet daily.
Instructions of use
Preferably to be taken with a meal.
Contraindications
If you are taking antacids, calcium, copper or thyroid medications, you should take the iron supplement at least 3 hours apart. Consumption of coffee and green tea should also be avoided as it may significantly reduce its absorption.
Side effects
The most common side effects include upset stomach, constipation or diarrhea.
Cautions
This product contains iron, which when taken in large quantities may be harmful to young children. Taking over 20mg of iron per day can cause mild gastrointestinal disorders in sensitive people.
Storage
Keep the product in a dry, cool place up to 25°C (77°F), and protect it from light. Inappropriate storage conditions, such as prolonged exposure to sunlight, high temperature, humidity, and freezing conditions, may result in alterations to the product.
