The Lamberts Acetyl-L-Carnitine 500 mg dietary supplement contains the acetylated form of L-carnitine which is characterized by increased absorption and bioavailability.
Carnitine is an amino acid found naturally in foods of animal origin. It belongs to the group of essentials and the body is made up of the amino acid lysine in the presence of vitamin C.
The biological role of carnitine is to transfer long-chain fatty acids to the mitochondria of muscle groups (including myocardium), where they contribute to energy production through a metabolic process called oxidation of fatty acids. In addition, acetyl-L-carnitine has antioxidant activity.
Dosage
1 capsule daily.
Instructions of use
Amino acids have better absorption when taken half an hour before eating or sleeping. Disintegration Time : Less than 30 minutes.
