ITF Iofolen Lactancia is a multivitamin supplement suitable for breastfeeding mothers. Contains Ω-3 fatty acids, iodine, complex B vitamins, vitamin D as well as antioxidant vitamins C, E.
Specifically, Ω-3 fatty acids (DHA & EPA) along with iodine are essential as they contribute to the smooth functioning of the nervous system and the proper development of brain tissues. At the same time, the vitamin D it contains helps calcium absorption which in turn contributes to bone health and cellular signaling. In addition, the B vitamins help supplement the micronutrients during lactation.
